AdvocateTV Player: Toronto Court Reporter Kimberley Neeson
Accounting for Law

Toronto court reporter Kimberley Neeson says implementation of changes to the way court reporting is delivered has begun. She also talks about a first: the Nortel bankruptcy trial will feature something that has never been done before. There will be two sets of court reporters working simultaneously in Toronto and Delaware as it is a trial with two judges, two complete sets of counsel, a full set in the U.S. and in Canada, and real-time streaming between the two courts. There is also the ability of counsel to chat with each other between the two countries. In the deposition stage Neeson was part of the process where people logged in across North America to partcipate.
