Hull, Popovic-Montag to speak at Probate Essentials program
Toronto estates and trusts lawyers Ian Hull and Suzana Popovic-Montag will share their insights into some of the complications that can arise during the probate application process with attendees at an upcoming Law Society of Upper Canada program.
Popovic-Montag, managing partner of Hull & Hull LLP, will co-chair the ‘Practice Gems: Probate Essentials 2016’ program on Sept. 20, which will explore the critical issues that can delay or hinder the probate application process.
Expert speakers will discuss such topics as bonding, interpretation concerns, and providing proof of foreign testamentary documents to help participants anticipate and address complications effectively. Attendees will also receive comprehensive precedents, which will help them be more efficient in managing their next probate file.
From 9:45 – 10:05 a.m. Hull, co-founding partner of Hull & Hull LLP, will also present a session on ‘Finding Lost Beneficiaries.’
The program will run from 9 a.m. – noon at the Donald Lamont Learning Centre, located at 130 Queen St. W. in Toronto, and is eligible for two hours 30 minutes of Substantive and 30 minutes of Professionalism CPD content.
