Shanon Grauer is counsel to the Toronto firm DDO Health Law.
She graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in economics in 1973 and earned her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Toronto in 1976. Ms. Grauer was called to the Ontario Bar in 1978.
Ms. Grauer assists clients with health regulatory law matters and corporate reorganizations, mergers, and acquisitions. She advises boards of not-for-profit and charitable corporations on governance and legal issues, and assists private-sector clients with matters related to the public sector, including requests for proposal and contracts.
Before joining DDO Health Law, Ms. Grauer was a partner with McCarthy Tetrault LLP, focusing on health regulatory laws.
She is a member of the development committee and the advisory council of the Women’s College Hospital Foundation and is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, and the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation.
