Luis A. Hernandez, an associate with Shibley Righton LLP’s Toronto office, focuses on condominium law.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English literature, with a minor in philosophy, from Western University in 2013 where he was awarded a Western Scholarship of Excellence in his first year. Mr. Hernandez earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor in 2016 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2017.
Working in Shibley Righton’s Condominium Law Group, Mr. Hernandez handles all aspects of condominium law, including advising boards of directors on matters such as corporate governance, bylaws and rules, contracts, and compliance.
Fluent in English and Spanish, Mr. Hernandez has written for condominium publications and has presented on topics related to condominium law to directors and property managers.
He is on the board of directors of the Windsor-Essex chapter of the Canadian Condominium Institute and is a member of the institute’s communications committee in Toronto.
Mr. Hernandez is also a member of the Toronto Lawyers Association, the Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario, and the Canadian Hispanic Bar Association.
