Julia Tremain, a partner with the Toronto firm Waddell Phillips Professional Corporation, focuses on family law.

She graduated with both a Bachelor of Arts in 1988 and a Master of Social Work in 1994 from the University of Toronto. Ms. Tremain earned her Bachelor of Laws from Dalhousie University in 2003 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2004.

Ms. Tremain handles such matters as separation, divorce, and property division, as well as custody and access issues. She assists with mediation and collaborative law and has represented clients before all levels of court in Ontario.

After working seven years as in-house counsel for the Office of the Children’s Lawyer, Ms. Tremain is now a member of its outside counsel panel.

She is a member of The Advocates’ Society and the Family Law Association.
