Dykeman, Rosen to co-chair Osgoode healthcare privacy program
The April 13 course, available in-person or live on the web, will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Osgoode Professional Development Centre, located at 1 Dundas St. W., 26th Floor, in Toronto.
It will feature a faculty of leading legal, privacy and health experts and aims to provide those working and advising in the health-care arena with a comprehensive understanding of the pressing issues and practical strategies to prevent, reduce the risk of, and respond to privacy breaches. A special panel closes the day on privacy in community health-care settings, including community mental health and addiction, community health centres and community care access centres.
In addition to chairing the program, Dykeman, partner with Dykeman Dewhirst O'Brien LLP, will speak on recent privacy developments including Bill 119. Rosen, a partner at Rosen Sunshine LLP, will speak on the use of personal health information in proceedings.
