Popovic-Montag to speak at OBA estates, family law event

Toronto estates and trusts lawyer Suzana Popovic-Montag will share her thoughts on the role of arbitration in estates matters at an upcoming program presented by the Ontario Bar Association (OBA), she tells AdvocateDaily.com.

On April 5, Popovic-Montag, managing partner of Hull & Hull LLP, will speak at the “Kissing Cousins: Where Family Law, and Trusts and Estates Law Meet” event, which will explore practical strategies and drafting tools for addressing essential issues at the intersection of family law, and trusts and estates law.

From 11:55 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Popovic-Montag will participate in a session discussing ‘Using Arbitration in Family and Estates Matters,’ which will look at the role of arbitration in family and estates cases, whether trustees can be bound by arbitration and how to manage privacy concerns.

The event will run from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Twenty Toronto Street Conferences and Events, located at 20 Toronto St., 2nd floor, in Toronto.

The program is accredited for 0.25 Professionalism hours and is eligible for up to 3.75 Substantive hours of CPD content.
