Police say the victims of crash in Toronto are in stable condition
Toronto police say all those injured in a collision in the city's downtown core this week are now in stable condition.
The crash took place on Thursday afternoon, at the intersection of College Street and Bay Street.
Police say a 54-year-old man driving a Toyota Highlander allegedly ran a red light and struck four pedestrians.
The vehicle also hit another car, which collided with a pickup.
Police say a 69-year-old woman, a 54-year-old woman and a one-year-old girl — all pedestrians — were taken to hospital with varying injuries.
A 24-year-old woman driving one of the cars that was hit was also taken to hospital, while a 43-year-old man who was a pedestrian was treated at the scene.
The two other drivers involved in the collision were not seriously hurt and did not need to be taken to hospital.
Police say their investigation is ongoing.
