Hull, Popovic-Montag to share estate planning meeting tips at TLA event
Toronto estates and trusts lawyers Ian Hull and Suzana Popovic-Montag will share their methodology for conducting streamlined estate planning meetings at an upcoming practical program, presented by the Toronto Lawyers Association (TLA).
On April 20, Hull, co-founding partner of Hull & Hull LLP, and Popovic-Montag, managing partner of the firm, will be among the presenters at ‘Taking Will Planning Instructions and Proper Reporting: A Seasoned Approach for Drafting Solicitors,’ which will provide attendees with a new way of conducting estate planning meetings that aims to protect them from claims by disappointed beneficiaries.
Hull and Popovic-Montag will take participants through a simplified methodology for estate planning meetings, identify "red flags" in the will planning retainer, and share their materials and checklists for attendees to work with immediately.
The program, part of the TLA’s Nutshell Programs series, will run from 5:15 - 7 p.m. in the TLA Lawyers Lounge, located on the 2nd floor of the 361 University Avenue Courthouse in Toronto.
The session is eligible for 45 minutes of Professionalism and 60 minutes of Substantive CPD content. For more information or to register, click here.
