Siegel to share insights on family arbitration at FDRIO event
Toronto family lawyer Brahm Siegel will participate in a panel discussion on what makes an effective arbitration at Family Dispute Resolution Institute of Ontario’s (FDRIO) annual conference.
Siegel, a senior partner with Nathens Siegel, LLP, will also share his thoughts on how to make them run smoothly and tips for bulletproofing arbitrations from appeals.
As a certified arbitrator with FDRIO, he has a busy mediation/arbitration practice, assisting lawyers and clients in resolving divorce disputes.

As part of the conference, Siegel will co-present a discussion with mediation trainer Elizabeth Hyde on the role of parenting coordinators (PC) in arbitration.The speakers will review the law of evidence, the requirements of due process as it applies to PC practice and the current case law to explain why conducting hearings and applying the law is nothing to fear.
