Waddell to co-chair Winning Injunctions program
The program will explore the skills and strategies that every litigator must know to successfully seek and oppose injunctive relief.
Topics on the agenda include the injunction test and terminology, motions advocacy, strategic advice for moving and responding counsel, specialized motions such as Mareva injunctions and Anton Piller orders, bringing ex parte motions as well as professionalism during high-stakes injunctions. Waddell will also be moderating a panel of seasoned judges who will share important advocacy tips from the Bench.
The program will run from 1 – 4 p.m. at The Advocates’ Society Education Centre, located at 250 Yonge St., Suite 2700 in Toronto. A live webcast option is also available.
The program is accredited for 0.75 professionalism hours and is eligible for up to 2.25 substantive hours.
