Man, 30, charged in three Toronto-area sex assaults

TORONTO — Police say they've charged a man in three sexual assaults that took place in Toronto and another nearby city.

Investigators say 30-year-old Le Roi Wisdom Saul of Toronto was arrested July 8 and charged with four counts of sexual assault as well as one count of criminal harassment.

Earlier this month police released video of a man they believed to be responsible for the sexual assaults, which took place in public places over the course of a month.

Police say the first incident took place in Vaughan, Ont., in late May, when it's alleged a man attacked and sexually assaulted an 18-year-old woman who was unlocking the front door to her house.

The second incident happened on June 8, when a 33-year-old woman was walking outside in north Toronto at about 11 p.m.

Police say a man grabbed the woman from behind, sexually assaulted her, and fled when she started to scream.

Then on June 21, at 11:15 p.m., police say a 29-year-old woman who was also walking in Toronto was approached from behind, dragged up a driveway, pushed up against a fence and sexually assaulted.
