Wahbi to speak on the importance of making a will

Toronto wills and estates lawyer Mary Wahbi will share her insights with a local community on the importance of making a will at an upcoming Ontario Bar Association event.

Wahbi, a partner with Fogler Rubinoff LLP, one of a number of volunteer lawyers focused on educating the public on estate issues, will address the various advantages and challenges involved in making a will, including what happens if you die without one, what’s involved in appointing a person or people that you trust to manage your estate, and the importance of having a power of attorney for property and for personal care.

The event is part of the Ontario Bar Association’s Make a Will month, and takes place Nov. 18 at 2 p.m. at the Toronto Public Library, Lilian H. Smith Branch at 239 College St.
