Course to focus on legal risk management for nurses

Toronto health lawyers Mary Jane Dykeman and Elyse Sunshine are set to co-chair an upcoming program on legal risk management for nurses, hosted by Osgoode Professional Development.

As part of the June 17 event, Dykeman, partner at Dykeman Dewhirst O’Brien LLP, will participate in a panel discussion from 9:30 – 11 a.m. on “Ensuring Patient Privacy: How to Deal Appropriately with Confidential Information" with Manuela Di Re, Director of Legal Services, Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario.

Sunshine, partner at Rosen Sunshine LLP, will also provide a professional misconduct update outlining “What Every Nurse Should Know” from 2 – 2:45 p.m.

The program will run from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the Osgoode Professional Development Centre, located at 1 Dundas St. W., 26th Floor, in Toronto. For more information, click here.
