Reacquaint yourself with the latest Supreme Court of Canada decisions - TLA Education Program , Nov. 6, 2019

In our 6th annual Supreme Court of Canada roundup, our expert panel of seasoned lawyers and scholars returns to offer insightful comments about recent decisions by our top court and identify emerging trends in the areas of civil, criminal, and public law.

In this popular casual program, relax in our intimate lounge while catching up on what the Supremes have been saying this past year. Specific cases to be discussed will be identified closer to the event, so there will not be extensive handouts. This program takes place on Wednesday, November 6 and begins at 5:15 p.m. (registration starts at 5 p.m.). As always, refreshments will be served.

Leading the discussion will be Frank Addario, Addario Law Group, Eric Gertner, formerly of McCarthy Tétrault; co-founding editor of The Supreme Court Law Review, Professor Allan C. Hutchinson, Distinguished Research Professor, Osgoode Hall Law School. The conversation will be moderated by Mark Gannage, who serves on the TLA Board of Directors. Bring your questions.

This program has been approved for 1 hour and 45 minutes of Substantive Content.
