Cohen to speak at AAARTA, ABA conferences this spring
Toronto fertility lawyer Sara Cohen will share her insights on growing a practice with the help of social media, as well as on how to use checklists to ensure smooth international travel for babies born through surrogacy in the U.S., at a pair of conferences this month.
On May 5, Cohen, founder of Fertility Law Canada at D2Law LLP, will speak at the annual conference of the American Academy of Assisted Reproductive Technology Attorneys (AAARTA), on the subject of how to use social media to grow your practice.
The conference, for fellows of the Academy, will take place in Denver, Colorado. Cohen is a fellow of the AAARTA.
And, on May 13 from 8 – 10 a.m., Cohen will be speaking at the American Bar Association Section of Family Law 2016 Spring CLE Conference, as part of a plenary CLE session entitled “Passport–Check. Visa–Check. Check your baby…maybe.”
Cohen will join a panel of fellow international practitioners to discuss the value of checklists and how they keep a practice competitive in today’s legal marketplace. Speakers will discuss how to apply checklists to satisfy the requirements to secure a smooth transition for babies born through surrogacy in the U.S. traveling to international destinations.
The conference will run from May 11 – 14 at the Atlantis resort on Paradise Island, Bahamas. For more information, click here.
